Bacolodiat 2013 Fever is in Bacolod City!

Everyone might be wondering what all of the lanterns are doing in Lacson Street toward shopping. One thing is sure. It is there for a reason. And it’s this: Bacolodiat 2013 Fever is in Bacolod City!

As a new addition to the celebration in Bacolod City, the Bacolodiat is a recognition of the crucial part that the Chinese- Filipino Community play in the development  of the City. The Festival is celebrated on the week of the Chinese New Year.

A food walk and night market with colorful booths of delicious Chinese food, souvenirs, ansand crafts with live performances nightly.

Bacolod City, in Negros Occidental is one of the Business Process Outsourcing destinations in the Philippines. It is the most populous city in Western Visayas, even surpassing Iloilo City, the Capital of Western Visayas. It is currently ranked as the 17th most populous city in the Philippines. The metropolitan area, Metro Bacolod is composed of neigboring cities – Silay, Talisay and Bago.
